MOBILE VOUCHER
THE CLIENT
The client is a Korean fast-food chain that mainly operates in East Asia. The client has been in Vietnam since 1998 and has become one of the most well-known among Vietnamese consumers and able to sell tons of products, and it has established itself as one of the biggest firms in the field.
ABOUT PROJECT
The application, a mobile voucher management system, was made with the point of helping customers manage and exchange points for vouchers when they perform any transaction at the restaurant. In the application, the customer must create an account, and from that, they can store points after every transaction to help them exchange vouchers for future endeavors.
The application allows users to search for vouchers that can be exchanged and make a transaction to acquire those vouchers. The vouchers will be stored in the application’s wallet, which only the customer can access. This helps reduce the chances that the customer might lose the coupon or be used by somebody else compared to the original method of the hard-copy voucher that was widely used back in the day.
From the client’s side, they can change, alter, update, or remove any vouchers they don’t have or are outdated. They can update that information faster without worrying about customers not being informed about those changes since they are all displayed on the app. Besides, this could create more incentives for customers to use the application to store their vouchers.
The application stores the user’s data in a database, analyzes those data displays potential vouchers from areas the customers most frequently in and displays those that may have caught the customer’s attention. This application potentially increases the number of customers that frequent the restaurant and maybe even increases the demands from customers to eat at the restaurant.
CLIENT’s INITIATIVE
In this project, the client wants an application to store vouchers that customers can purchase online. This means the coupons will be safer than the old ways, and customers won’t have to worry about losing their vouchers. It could also help the client be more proactive and independent in operating their vouchers management system and have information reach customers at a desirable pace.
The two main targets of the system, the clients and the customers will access the application to perform operations according to their own needs. In addition, the application will mainly operate on iOS to ensure the best compatibility.
